A love of innovation in the family-run children's hotel
We have been running our 4-star Children's Hotel Alpin Family Resort Seetal with a lot of passion and love of innovation for over a quarter of a century. We took over the Seetal in 1992 as a small guesthouse and it has since grown into one of the top family hotels in Austria. Always with the shared goal of making our children's hotel here in the Zillertal in Tyrol a real holiday home for our big and small guests.
Our children's hotel includes our rustic "Seetal Hüttl" opposite the hotel entrance, the 2-story "Baumschlösschen" with its cabin feeling just a few steps above our hotel and the large garden with the "Teufels" sauna and natural swimming lake, as well as the room of tranquility just a few steps higher. We also run our own farm in Kaltenbach and Lechner's Dorfladen in the neighboring village of Stumm.
We are constantly implementing new projects to crown the Seetal with further special features, such as our Infinity Pool, which offers a top view of Kaltenbach and a partial glass floor, as well as the new 400 m² indoor children's area and the fountain designed by Andreas Lechner himself in front of the entrance. Or the "Teufels" sauna with natural swimming lake and the room of tranquillity a few steps higher. We also run our own farm in Kaltenbach and Lechner's Dorfladen in the neighboring village of Stumm.

We are passionate hosts and accompany your well-deserved time-out around the clock with family cordiality: Your stay in our children's hotel in the Zillertal begins with an individual check-in including a guided tour of the hotel and a relaxed welcoming evening, where Andreas Lechner himself invites you to an enjoyable wine tasting.
Our family is deeply rooted in the children's hotel. Gabriele Lechner, a trained hotel manager, works in the restaurant. Our daughter Magdalena has a sommelier training. Antonia is at the reception desk. And our dedicated team will also make sure that your holiday with your children is very special.

Our children's hotel Seetal in Kaltenbach
In the past, when there were no reservoirs in the region, waterfalls flowed from the Zillertal mountains into the valley when the snow was melting. This resulted in many lakes and even here, where our children's hotel in Kaltenbach stands today, there was a lake. The farm at this place was called "Seetal". We have kept this name for our Alpin Family Resort.
